My iPhone escapade

Realizing that iPhone was not coming to Sprint anytime soon, and realizing that palm pre was PC centric I decided that I had to have an iPhone. That meant jumping ship to AT&T. I’d like to say that things went without a hitch

and they did

I got my iPhone from the apple store in San Antonio, the one in North Star Mall. The Store saiud that they would open at 7 am, and they did. I went and got myself pre-approved online. That reduced my time in obtaining the device. The activation and transfer of my number went without a hitch. I’m sure that Sprint was bummed; I was a good customer for quite some time.

Now that I am with the iPhone, I feel more complete. With 32 GB of memory I have enough room to store my collection of music, some pictures and video. I also dipped into the well of apps and pulled out quite a few, Cribbage, Craps, and a Dictionary. I was already using Remote, and the Kindle client from Amazon, along with Texas Hold ‘em.

I had gotten used to the interface with my iPod touch. I had also gotten used to the app store, so there was not much to get used to on the iphone. Perhaps the Phone part was the hardest to get used to. Is the phone interface perfect? Not by a long shot, but Apple has not been in the phone business for quite some time

So has the iphone won me over. I threw out the packaging material and am using the heck out of it. What do you say?
