FAQ Fridays

in General

I get a lot of questions from my students and visitors to my sight. Remember, I am an educator and so my site is oriented toward teaching, as such I expect a lot of questions. I will tell you how to get your question answered later in this post.

Why only 5 minutes on the Life Management Podcasts?

The audience for this podcasts are very busy with their life and work. Spending an hour, or even half an hour might not be feasible, so I aim to pack five to ten minutes with as much material as I can. That way the time cramped can listen to the podcast without loosing to much time. Also I can fill five minutes a week.

What happened to the stories?

They are still in the archives, but I am no longer publishing my fictional work using clayssite.com. The business side of things is preventing me from publishing fiction. Sorry to those who like the stories.

You use Macs yet you write a lot about the windows world

That because in the 90 and early 00’s I was a windows person. I taught a lot of the windows products because that was where the money was. Recently I have returned to the Mac. Yet I still work with windows products. I can do this because I have Parallels. I was using Bootcamp, but Parallels has allowed me to have windows products run on the same screen as the Mac OS.

What’s with all this advertising?

There is a certain amount of expense associated with the maintenance of a website, as well as adding content. I hope to defray the cost with the small amount that I can get from advertising. I also provide a link for things that I mention from amazon. I try to keep them from being an eye sore, but this allows me to keep the site up without it being a drain on my finances.

How can I submit a question to be answered on FAQ Fridays?

You can use the email I have reserved for answering questions from my students. It is askme(at)clayssite(dot)com. Be sure to put it down for FAQ Fridays.
