On October 28th the one hundred millionth person click on the download button for OpenOffice since version 3.0 was announced over a year ago. I have been evangelizing on OpenOffice since version 2. Good to see that I was backing the right horse.

I think a good deal of those downloads has been int he Mac community when OpenOffice began to develop for the Mac platform since version 3.0. I don’t have the numbers for it, but it would be nice to have a breakdown by platform.

Well the people who donate and work on OpenOffice have a right to be proud.
