How to create Lists in Twitter

One of the newest features of Twitter is a list mechanism. You can break down your “following” people into lists. You can make these lists either public or private. The following is how to make a list.

If you see the lists on your twitter home page, then you can make lists. Lists are collections of people who’s tweets your want to follow. Think of lists and categorizations of the type of tweets out there. To make a list click on the link at the bottom of the list section of your twitter home page.

This is the dialog that you will see. Enter the information and indicate whether this is a public list, or a private list. Then click on the create list.

the most typical use is to organize the people that you follow into categories, so when you see this list page click on the following page link.

On the following page click the list check box to put them in your list.

Have fun putting the people you follow into lists.
