Modern ball points pens come in all shapes and sizes. Some pen manufacturers don’t make their inserts. Rather they use some other manufacturer’s inserts and build their pen around them. As an example a pen called the fatboy pen uses Parker inserts. So how does using parker inserts make it the smoothest pen? Parker makes a gel ball point pen insert.
I know that this is not a secret, but the number of pen shapes and sizes that use a parker insert means that you have a choice for the size of the pen that you wish to use. Why do I like gel pens? the are much smoother and make a bolder line. They act a little like rollerball, but they don’t bleed through. This gel inset acts more like a ballpoint pen.
I know that for you pen aficionados you may already know about the Parker Gel inserts. For the rest of you this is welcome liberation from mundane ball point pens. I find that I take more notes when it is a joy to use a pen, and just about any pen is more enjoyable when it can use the parker gel insert. You can buy these inserts here
