This is something that I already knew. I tell you that a device for viewing written text simulating a book as much as possible will be big. Imagine carrying your reference work on a small device that canbe easily carried and has an entire business day of battery power. Then see some of the Start Trek: Next Generation shows showing them carrying around what are called PADDs. Technically the iPad would do rings around the ST:NG PADDs, since the iPad can play music, movies, and even games.
