I like and use Bento. It is a easy to use, simple, personal database. This is not meant as a replacement for something a bit more robust, but for most people this is all that is needed to help keep them somewhat organized. Well they have added Template Exchange where you can go an get template to use in your database. They een come up with their own templates, and after the break I will tell you about their new template.
The new Template is called the Bento family organizer. The template is free. You can even download the trial version to see if this is what you want. They are hoping that you will become a paying Bento customer.
The template is a group of tables and forms hat implement some common household items. There is the Weekly todo table from iCal, There is the shopping list forms, Chores, Meal planner. The idea behind using Templates is so that you can quickly build up a database that conforms to your needs. As such the tables are completely customizable and so are the forms.
