Disposable Content On The Non-Disposable iPad

MG Siegler writes:

Depending on what you read, the iPad would either be the savior of print media, or the final straw that destroyed these companies. But now, having actually used the device to consume media these past few weeks, I’m more intrigued by this idea than I ever have been. And particularly disposable media. That is, newspapers and magazines.

I am glad that Magazines and some newspapers are getting the religion, so to speak. Would you pay $0.99 an issue for your local paper if it looked the same as the print issue, had ads, and media that was interactive? Would you pay the monthly print subscription fee to have it on your iPad? I think I would. I probably will wait until the prices stabilize however.
