My revelation concerning my Mom’s computer running Ubuntu shows the side of user friendliness.  I had to make things a little more obvious, but Mom is such a technophobe.  Easy is a necessity for her.  Ubuntu is on her machine because it installed cleanly and supported all of her hardware.  She likes her computer now.
