While leading technology project using Agile/Scrum methodology as a member of the non-profit board for the development of a full stack mobile application that provisions grocery cards for people in need.

The front end code was written in Flutter and the backend code in Python. Firebase is used for persistent storage. Evaluated AWS for the API’s but used Heroku. Full code for this project are on GIT. Project documentation is stored for the requirements, technical architecture, and API’s.                

Harding Historic Preservation

The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) has responsibility to assist and advise applicants on ways of conserving, protecting, enhancing, and perpetuating the historic character of Harding Township. Specifically, the Commission is charged with promoting historic preservation within the township. The Commission also seeks to preserve the township’s rural streetscape. 

A problem existed when unknowing families purchased historic properties in Harding and when they wanted to update their houses, they needed to present their plans to the HPC. To solve this problem, a Python program was written to search the existing homes for sale in Harding, using RapidAPI, and compares it to the list of historic homes. All historic properties for sale were e-mailed to the commission and real estate agencies.  In addition, the list was blog posted to a web site.
